A couple months back I found out that a good friend of mine, Jon, was diagnosed with a particular bone cancer. Once again a little monkey wrench falls into the life of an otherwise perfectly healthy person. It made me angry and it made me ponder why the hell these things happen to such genuinely good people… and at such a young age, only 21. It also made me remember how I felt when I found out that I had cancer. I knew a lot of the things that were going through Jon’s mind and I could only imagine that his family was as devastated as mine was when they heard the news.

I had a singular thought. This is why I started Endure. This is why I strive each day to make what I do and create the best it absolutely can be… why I design shirts and promote what I do… I started Endure to help me with my medical bills and in the hopes that one day I would be able to give back to the people that helped me and help others who are dealing with the same hardships that I have. I have this opportunity now and I’m going to take it.

The year 2008 holds many exciting prospects! Starting right out of the gate we have picked up a few jobs and are busily hacking away with progress! Ill be getting into details with each client as time goes on. Currently on the table there are projects from Mythic Image Media, Absolutely Piercings, illSellYourStuff.net and even a secret project that I can’t reveal right now… until the unveiling it’ll be referred to in the blog as “Top Secret Jobs”!

In the realm of apparel, Endure is working on it’s newest design; Valente. This is a project going back to Endure’s roots, helping out our brothers and sisters in their times of need. Ill be posting more information on Valente soon.

There is a lot going on for the beginning of the year and im hoping that it stays that way. But for now, happy new year! …a whole week later (hahaha).

MySpace has proved it’s stupidity again with their switch to MSPlinks. Basically what this means is that any outgoing link from your page gets redirected to msplinks.com (myspace links) then filtered and sent back with a bunch of numbers and letters… apparently this was supposed to help the programmer types remove links to porn and spam sites, however this makes it much more difficult for myspace users to recognize phishing and spammer messages because they can no longer preview the url before they click on it… we call that “smarts”…

So because I was sick of seeing msplinks and numbers with letters instead of my web links I implemented a little tool (add on) for Firefox called “greasemonkey”
