Jacob’s Ladder
The band originally formed back in 1996 with Chris and Ryan and has evolved into what it is today. Their style is all of their own. Even they are unable to exactly define themselves musically, with a sound stemming, from metal to rock to even hardcore they bring a fresh sound that grabs you and pulls you in. Raw emotion and the experiences of their lives, that is the inspiration and the fuel that drives them. They combined melodic and crunching guitar riffs with the singing and screaming of their vocals, as well as heavy slap pluck bass and hard driving drumbeats. This band prides themselves on original songs, songs of heartache, regrets, addictions, and just everyday choices in life. They are songs that everyone can relate to, with memorable hooks and meaningful lyrics. Check out Jacob’s Ladder and hear a few tunes here!
The Suburban Sound
November 25th, 2001, Lancaster PA. The newspapers didn’t report it, but something amazing happened. In fact, nobody but 7 boys in a ran down apartment understood just what was happening. Maybe some passer byers heard the noises, felt the vibrations, but they didn’t understand. They didn’t know that on that day in that little apartment, a new era of rock and roll was born. It was the dawning of a new kind of music. One that was classic in the grooves, modern in the sounds, soulful in energy. It was what the world needed and these 7 boys were ready to share the fruits of their loins… it’s been almost 6 years from that day. A lot has changed. The 7 boys have now grown into men. Some are no longer here. Others are new to the cause. One thing has not changed. That is their commitment to giving the world what it wants so desperately. What it needs so violently. Real American Rock and Roll. Take a look at the guys here or visit their myspace site.
World Famous Nobodies
Mark “Marquis” Boyd plays a mean acoustic guitar, writes masterful lyrics and exclusively sports Endure apparel at his shows. This closet metal-head list some of his influences as: Andy Summers, Swell, The Tea Party, Led Zeppelin, U2, Dave Grohl, Jack White, The Alarm, The Cult, and House of Freaks. Mark has played with Paul LeDoux as World Famous Nobodies for what seems like eons (no that wasn’t a crack on his age… okay, maybe it was)… anyway, you can check out Mark and World Famous Nobodies music and schedule here!
West Wind Boyz
Reppin’ Endure on the west coast, The West Wind Boyz, seemingly coming straight out of the ocean, up the beach and into Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, have emerged as one of the hottest and most innovative groups people have heard in a long time. Lead by the musical genius and talents of Paul Cincotta, the lead vocalist tandem of Sven Haaland and Ward Holifield, and the melodic vocal choruses of Ryan Reynolds, the West Wind Boyz travel back and forth across hip hop and other genres of music to the delight of their audiences. The West Wind Boyz back their vocals with unique and creative beats as well as piano and other effects which transcend any hip hop group out there. Take a listen here!
Reno Subject
The Reno Subject is an eclectically inspired group of talented musicians based in West Philadelphia. These four roommates/musicians (Andrew Behringer: guitar|bass|vox, Devin “Deef” Ruffner: bass|piano|vox, Jason Sammartino: guitar|bass|vox, and Steve Malone: drums|percussion) have been living under the same roof for over a year, attempting to create the most flavorful blend of music they are capable. With influences ranging from the reggae/rock of 311 to the acoustic/singer-songwriter stylings of Simon and Garfunkel, the group has been described as “relaxed alternative” by some and has drawn comparisons to the Beatles from others. It is their strong songwriting and smooth vocals, with a touch of piano and a little wail on the guitar that make the Reno Subject an intriguing option to sate your aural appetite.
